Jim Hambrick

Jim is co-founder and co-owner of Rehab etc. He is a native of Memphis. After attending undergraduate school at Mississippi State University, he attended Physical Therapy school at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. After practicing for approximately 5 years, he opened his first private practice clinic in 1993. He has received advanced training and certification in Myofascial Pain management. He has been married for 25 years and has 2 children.

Michelle Bierdz

Michelle is a native of Millington, TN. She attended Physical Therapy school at the University of Tennessee, Memphis and graduated in 1999 with a BSc in Physical Therapy, graduating with honors. She subsequently joined the staff of Rehab etc shortly after graduating. Her post-graduate training has been focused around advanced orthopedic rehabilitation including post-surgical treatment of the knee and shoulder as well as total joint replacement rehabilitation. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Michelle has been married for 11 years and has 3 children.

Sue DiAngelo

Sue is originally from Kingston, Ontario Canada. She graduated from the University of Waterloo in Ontario in 1981 with a BSc in Kinesiology. She subsequently attended the University of Toronto and graduated in 1984 with a BSc in Physical Therapy. Over the past 23 years, she has undergone extensive post-graduate training in the treatment of musculoskeletal pathology, with special interest in treatment of the spine. She joined the staff of Rehab etc. in 1995. She has been married for 20 years and has 3 children.

Becky French

Becky was raised in Lafayette, TN. She attended undergraduate school at Middle Tennessee State University and received a BSc in General Science. She then attended the University of Tennessee, Memphis and received a Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2006 and further received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007. She joined the staff of Rehab etc. in 2006. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her area of special interest and training is in the area of orthopedics.

Ashley Hansford

Ashley was raised in Halls, TN. He attended undergraduate school at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS and received a BSc in Biology. After working for one year in an industrial rehabilitation facility, he enrolled at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, graduating in 2001 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After working in western Kentucky for 6 years, Ashley joined the Rehab etc. staff in October of 2007. He has interest in management of all orthopedic problems and has undergone specialized post-graduate training in the management of disorders of the spine and pelvis as well as the shoulder girdle.

Cory Heinkel

Cory received a B.A. in Chemistry and Biology from Drury College in Springfield, MO in 1998. He later acquired a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, MO in 2004. Cory joined the staff of Rehab etc. in May of 2004 and has served as both a staff physical therapist and a clinic manager. He works with the full spectrum of orthopedic patients. Cory is married with 2 children.

Ken McMahon

Ken was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but has spent most of his life here in the Memphis area. He attended Christian Brothers high school here locally and went to the University of Memphis where he received a BS in Molecular Biology. He then went on to Belmont University in Nashville, TN where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Specialty interests in physical therapy include the spine and orthopedic issues. He has extensive post graduate training in these areas with a strong emphasis in manual therapy. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association. In addition to this, he is a clinical instructor for both the University of Tennessee and the Belmont University Physical Therapy Programs. He is the clinic director of our Wolfchase/Bartlett location. He lives in Arlington, TN and is married to Megan Jill McMahon and has two little girls, Maci Grace and Madison Avery.

Brent McCay

Brent was born and raised in Oxford, MS. He attended the University of Mississippi, graduating in 1998 with a BSc in Exercise and Sport Science and Biology. He then attended the University of Tennessee, Memphis and received his Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2002. Brent joined the staff of Rehab etc. in 2003. He treats the full spectrum of orthopedic problems. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Ashley Nations

Ashley was born and raised in Memphis. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a BSc in Biology in 1997. She subsequently attended the University of Tennessee, Memphis and graduated in 1999 with a BSc in Physical Therapy. She then joined the staff of Rehab etc. in 2000, where she now serves as a clinic manager. She has received significant post-graduate training including manual therapy and trigger point therapy training as well as in the treatment of movement impairment syndromes. She has special interest in treatment of runners and performance artists due to her years of involvement in these activities. Ashley is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as its Orthopedic section and Performing Arts Special Interest Group. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and is completing work on her doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Anne Stewart

Anne was born in Biloxi, MS. She attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS and received a BSc in Physical Therapy in 1971. She received her MSPT degree from the Institute of Health Professions, Massachusetts General Hospital in 1990. Anne has been on staff at Rehab etc. since 1993. Over her career, Anne has attended multiple post-graduate courses in orthopedics, myofascial and trigger point treatments, spinal injuries, and arthritic conditions. Her clinical expertise is in the areas of: spinal and extremity joint dysfunctions, headaches and TMJ dysfunction, Parkinson’s Disease and post-CVA neuromuscular strengthening and community functioning, Myofascial mobilization, and Post-chemotherapy and radiation soft tissue dysfunctions. Anne is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Dina Strickland

Dina was raised in Bartlett, TN and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Memphis. She received her BSc in Physical Therapy in 1992. Since that time, she has practiced in many different settings including acute care, home health, skilled nursing facility, and outpatient. Dina joined that staff of Rehab etc. in 2004 and now serves as a clinic manager.

Auston Wortman

Auston is a native of Ridgely, TN. He received his B.A. in Speech Communication from the University of Tennessee in 1998. He then attended the University of Tennessee, Memphis and received his Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2002. Auston then joined the staff of Rehab etc. in September of 2002. Auston has since completed his JD at the University of Memphis in 2005. He enjoys treating the full spectrum of orthopedic patients. He has been married for 6 years and has 2 children.
